Kuala Lumpur, 30th March 2020 – OGAWA is contributing RM 100,000 worth of massage chairs and hygiene equipment to University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) in an effort to help the healthcare front-liners to get the muchneeded care as well amid the Covid-19 battle.
University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) as one of the dedicated hospitals in Malaysia to treat Covid-19 patients, received the contribution from OGAWA today which consists of OGAWA massage chairs, OGAWA air purifiers and protective 3-ply surgical masks and KN95 masks.
Lim Mee Ling, Executive Director, OGAWA World Bhd, thanked all the frontline workers who are bravely working tirelessly to contain the spread of Covid-19 and their continuous commitment with great personal sacrifice in this battle. She said: “In this challenging environment, the protection for frontline workers is as crucial as ever. With all that the frontline workers must do to care for the patients, they have little time to think about themselves. We have seen pictures of exhausted medical staff fell asleep on the floor in the news. We feel a tremendous need to help all the frontline workers in the hospital to at least get a good and proper rest whenever possible at times like these.”

We hope that every single frontline workers have access to “self-care”, so they can continue their work in optimum condition.”
